The comment sparked online discussion when a netizen asked Trillo on TikTok if his wife, Jennylyn Mercado, was transferring to ABS-CBN due to her absence in GMA’s latest station ID. A comment supposedly from Trillo’s account replied, “May ABS pa ba?” “We would like to inform the public that Dennis Trillo’s TikTok account was hacked around noontime today, July 1, 2024. There were some comments made using his name, and we assure everyone that it was not his doing,” the statement read.
