We’re shocked and dismayed to see how many mainstream cinemas – among them Picturehouse and Everyman – are hosting this year’s Israeli film festival, Seret, whose funders and supporters include the Israeli government and a clutch of pro-Israel advocacy organisations.
The statement makes no sense. Of course Israel makes great films, boycotting is a move to pressure its govt. to stop curbing Palestinian rights, it's not a value judgement of the films themselves. If the govt reformed, we'd love the films! That's how BDS functions.
Maybe the guardian newspaper should be boycotted . Just asking for a friend.

It doesn’t matter. Customers can make up their own minds if they want to swallow and wallow in Israeli propaganda. Banning the showing of these films will only stir up the usual suspects.

Virtue signallers this way. How about Netflix, they show Israeli films and TV series. All very well made and gripping.

I am sure Mr Corbyn will be right behind this, he has the instincts of a moth around a flame.
The Palestinians wouldn't be suffering if their leaders came to the negotiating table, and use the money funded to them for good, and not terror tunnels.
