Social media has been plastered with dozens of shots of Superman, taken by spies on the set, showing David Cornswet in his new, bright costume for the first time outside of the officially released intro photo, seen above., to say that he doesn’t care much about these leaks, and that they’re not significant spoilers at all.
We are almost exactly a year from the release of Superman in theaters, which will be out July 11, 2025. It stars a wide range of heroes and villains, the classic Clark, Kara, Lois Lane, Jimmy Olsen, Perry White and Lex Luthor, for one. But also unexpected, somewhat more random characters like Mr. Terrific, The Engineer, Guy Gardner and Hawkgirl. No other big JLA members like Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash or Aquaman, that we know about.
It’s certainly going to be an interesting era for DC under Gunn, who has found either great financial success or quality success in his past superhero endeavors, and we’ll see how Superman does next year.
