Bosses at the BBC have shelved a popular comedy chat show that was fronted by husband and wife team Chris and Rosie Ramsey.
“The BBC absolutely love Chris and Rosie, they’re a hilariously entertaining duo but most importantly real,” the source said. “They want to continue producing The Chris and Rosie Ramsey Show for audiences but due to schedule clashes, they can’t make it work right now. The show’s format had Chris and Rosie chatting to another celebrity couple about their relationship, covering everything from parenting to arguments to the little things that can irritate people in a marriage or partnership.
Chris and Rosie, who have been together for 12 years and have two children, Robin and Rafe, first became known together for their podcast, Sh****d, Married, Annoyed that they launched in 2019. It came about after Chris, already a successful comedian, recorded some Facebook Live videos from home to promote his new solo show that featured Rosie heckling him in the background.
