'Well, I think that we had 30 good years, which is phenomenal,' the singer said during a new interview.

AGOURA HILLS, CALIFORNIA - SEPTEMBER 28: Singer Geoff Tate, founding member and former lead singer of Queensryche, performs onstage with his band Operation: Mindcrime at The Canyon Club on September 28, 2019 in Agoura Hills, California. Tate then opened up about the likelihood of that happening and recognized what the band accomplished during their stellar career before their nasty split in 2012.

Despite Tate’s solo tours often being closely knit around anniversaries of Queensrÿche albums, in addition to his acknowledgment of the iconic impact he and his former bandmates were able to solidify, it seems Tate is comfortable with his own legacy he established within the group. When asked if he keeps in touch with his former bandmates at all, the relationship seems amicable, at least on Tate’s end.

In the most recent interview with Morris, Tate also revealed that he had to work on not being as “volatile” when asked about a possible Queensrÿche reunion.
