We've all been there – so hungry that only 'Nasi Kandar' will hit that spot, and you declare you could 'eat an entire horse.' Well, one Singaporean competitive eater took it to the next level, turning that figurative expression into a near-reality.

His name is Zermatt Neo, a 36-year-old Singaporean who loves to eat. He travelled from the country to try our famous Nasi Kandar from Nasi Kandar Sulaiman in Penang, and has now broken a world record of the most expensive ‘Nasi Kandar’ eaten in just an hour. His new record was set when he spent a whopping RM300 ringgit on one single plate of ‘Nasi Kandar’ which weighed 8kg. The restaurant shared on their personal TikTok that he had a total of 6 servings of rice.

In the video, you can see the plate wiped clean in just an hour. However, we can't help but be curious as to why the plate cost so much and what was ordered for the competitive eater.
