The critically acclaimed Filipino animated film "Iti Mapukpukaw " just won another award!The full-length rotoscope animated film bagged the Best Feature Film award at the recently concluded 17th International Animated Film Festival Animator held from June 25 to 30 in Poznan, Poland."Iti Mapukpukaw ," written and directed by Carl Joseph Papa, follows the story of Eric, a Filipino animator who does not have a mouth and whose memories get untangled with the arrival of an alien.

"Eeva" by Morten Tšinako and Lucija Mrzljak won the Silver Pegasus award, whereas "Zima" by Kasumi Ozeki and Tomek Popakul won the Bronze Pegasus."Iti Mapukpukaw has won several film awards, most recently the Best Picture, Best Sound, and Best Animation awards at the 47th Gawad Urian Awards held early this June.It also won the Best Editing award at the 72nd Filipino Academy of Movie Arts and Sciences Awards in May.
