Gary Neville was told off by Roy Keane and Ian Wright for putting himself down prior to England's clash against Slovakia.
During the pre-match analysis, Neville - who earned 85 caps for England - praised the high quality that exists within the squad while simultaneously putting himself down jokingly by saying: "You know this isn’t a team of Nevilles". Despite Neville's legendary career that's seen him lift 18 trophies with his boyhood club, he's regularly played down his career achievements but it wasn't the first time Keane had taken umbrage to it as he previously told the 49-year-old not to do it all the time.
"Relief is the word of the day," Neville said. "We've been very lucky and we should thank our lucky stars. We were woeful and we've been woeful now for four games. Not even in extra-time have we played particularly well. We drew Slovakia onto us and they were unlucky at the end.
