The heartbroken family of a fisherman who died at a Melbourne Pier have spoken of their grief. Andres Pancha was found unresponsive just after 6am on Saturday after an alleged attack at Frankston Pier.

Family of fisherman speak out after alleged attack. The father of three is being remembered as a loving and devoted family man whose absence has left a “massive void” in the community. “He was human sunshine and we’re not just saying that because we’re his sisters, he actually was,” Pancha’s sisters, who asked not to be identified, said. Homeless man Forrest Stevenson, 36, was arrested soon after the attack on the nearby foreshore and charged with murder.
