Girls Aloud halted their last show to send a special message to Cheryl after she ‘cleared up’ a video that has circulated about her online.
After taking hold of a poster with a cheeky message on it from one of the lucky fans situated in the pit upfront, Cheryl told the excited crowd: “I’d just like to clear a little something up, you might have seen a video floating around of me saying I would never sing Love Machine in my 30s. Ok, but if we are going to go there, last tour I was 29, today I am 41!”
After performing Wake Me Up, which saw the band fly through the audience on motorbikes, the arena went crazy for arguably their most iconic track which catapulted them to fame after Popstars: The Rivals which was Sound of the Underground. “You sing beautifully Liverpool, you gorgeous Scousers” Nadine said before the show took an emotional turn in another poignant and heartbreaking tribute to Sarah.
