Chinese media has engaged in an all-out mockery of the first Biden-Trump presidential debate that took place on June 27, calling the event a “variety show”.

A VIDEO circulating on social media shows what appears to be police personnel by the roadside with a damaged patrol vehicle in the background.

It was said that they were hurt when another vehicle crashed into them at a Shah Alam traffic light junction, and it was also claimed that the crash occurred while their mobile patrol vehicle was responding to a call, with its siren and beacon lights on.Shah Alam OCPD Asst Comm Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the incident occurred at about 8.10pm on Saturday when the police team was en route to the Seksyen 7 commercial centre, responding to reports of a fight.

"The patrol vehicle, with its siren and beacon light switched on, was crossing the Persiaran Kayangan-Persiaran Bestari junction when the other vehicle rammed into it. The two policemen suffered face and hand injuries as well as bruises. The driver of the other vehicle was not injured," he said in a statement on Monday ."The police MPV's fender, left side door and windscreen were damaged while the other vehicle suffered damage to its bumper, bonnet, radiator and engine.

"We urge those with information to contact traffic investigating officer Insp Zaharizul Zamri at 019-3229097," he said, adding that the case is being investigated under Section 43 of the Road Transport Act 1987.
