Cyndi Lauper's Glastonbury performance on Saturday was hit with criticism after major sound problems disrupted the set.

Festival goers were left struggling to hear the Girls Just Wanna Have Fun singers vocals as her voice was drowned out by rumbling bass Some fans took to X - formerly known as Twitter - to complain about the 'awful sound issues' during the legends set.'Felt so bad for #CyndiLauper - could see she was p****d off with the sound issues.'

The crowd came to the rescue lifting Cyndi up as they sang along to her mega hits True Colors and Girls Just Wanna Have Fun Speaking to the audience, which stretched to the back of the Pyramid Stage field, she asked: 'How are you doing. I see you. I love you. You are everywhere'.
