Taylor Swift's dancer shouted 'póg mo thóin' during her show at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin on Friday, as the star performed the first of three sold-out shows

Taylor Swift wowed her fans at the first of her three sold-out gigs at Aviva Stadium with a performance of 'We Are Never Getting Back Together', during which one of her dancers shouted 'póg mo thóin' to the delighted crowd.

Paramore, led by Hayley Williams, set the stage alight as they opened for Taylor Swift, thrilling the audience before the 'Blank Space' singer kicked off her epic three-hour-plus show, with Williams sporting a Cranberries T-shirt. The Irish phrase caused a stir among the thousands of Swifties, who had anticipated the star might drop some Irish lingo during her performance, reports the Irish Mirror.

Ahead of her Friday evening performance, Taylor Swift expressed her gratitude for the "Irish hospitality" she'd received, mentioning that U2 had sent her a bouquet of flowers.
