NIBONG TEBAL: Construction of a road connecting the Bukit Panchor Industrial Area with Jalan Bukit Panchor here is ahead of schedule and expected to be completed by February, says Datuk Seri Ahmad Maslan.
The Deputy Works Minister said the project is at almost 75% completion and is 45 days ahead of schedule.Ahmad said the project will connect the Bukit Panchor Industrial Area in Nibong Tebal with state road P146, Jalan Bukit Panchor. He said at present, industrial vehicles use residential routes and Kampung Ladang Kerian and this raised safety concerns among the residents."It can connect residents from Sungai Kechil, Sungai Bakap, Taman Ilmu and Universiti Sains Malaysia Transkrian to the town of Nibong Tebal," he added.
