Gone are the days of having to reach for your physical card to pay for something online for NAB customers, as the big bank shakes up its app features. NAB customers can now view their full physical card details digitally in the bank’s app, meaning your card number, expiry date and CVV for any consumer debit and credit cards are at your fingertips even if your card is not within reach.
Now, once you have been approved for a new card, the details will automatically drop into your app within hours so you can start using it sooner. “Once a customer has opened an account, and the digital card arrives in their app, they can go out and use it straight away. It’s another secure and convenient way for them to make payments their way,” NAB personal everyday banking experience manager Saurabh Chawla said. The digital card feature highly sought after by customers, he added.
