At the most recent show in 2022, crowd chaos led to some families being turned away. With large crowds and high temperatures expected again, 2News investigated what's being done differently this year.The air show generates a $50 million economic impact on the state and draws around a half-million attendees over two days. Organizers spoke to us ahead of an even bigger upcoming show, despite families being turned away last time.
"We're lucky to watch it from home," said Brooke Cope, a Davis County resident. "We just watch it from our deck. It's super fun. Our kids love it.""We're visiting family and hoping to see the air show," Vanstelten said."We're planning for cool attire, hats, portable fans, and lots of water," she said. Ezra added sunglasses to the list.
"There will be no additional security at our parking lots or FrontRunner station so it should run a lot smoother," she said.
