K-pop fans are known to drop crazy amounts of money on their idols - but how much are you willing to pay for the exclusive experience of seeing your idol filming their music video? Well, one Jackson Wang fan seemed to have dropped thousands of dollars for that exact experience!
The GOT7 member recently participated in an online auction organised by JOOPITER, a global digital-first auction house founded by American singer Pharrell Williams. Earlier in June, JOOPITER opened up an exclusive auction featuring a curation of items from Jackson’s archive, including custom outfits from his Magic Man tour, Team Wang accessories and some of his fencing gear from his pre-debut days.
The auction concluded on 25th June , and the final biddings for all the lots were published on the JOOPITER website. As expected, the music video filming experience received the highest final bid of all the lots, at a whopping US$77,500 . However, it’s worth noting that the winning bidder will also need to fund their travel expenses and accommodations, meaning they’ll have to pay more for the entire experience.
