The Cassiobury Park Underpass in Watford has become home to a new multimedia installation entitled: The Overpass Suite.
Six intricate panels, residing in the underpass at the top of the park, showcase imagery from artist Fran Kershaw's eye-catching"100 Views of Watford" series. This technology offers visitors an auditory experience, a selection of musical preludes, created by 27-year-old musician, George Moorhouse, who is also from Watford.
He said:"Growing up I always felt deeply inspired by the work of Claude Debussy, he often composed pieces directly linked to images, paintings, and postcards. To create these musical interludes, George borrowed the artworks for nine months, allowing them to shape his compositions over time, forging a celebration of place and urban moods.
