Shifty Shellshock, the frontman of Crazy Town known for their hit Butterfly, has tragically passed away at the age of 49.
In recent times, the musician had spoken candidly about his journey towards sobriety and self-love, sharing an intimate post on Instagram just eight weeks ago: "I'm a lover than a fighter ...but the one I need to love more Instead of fight with is myself .. mr shifty true Love # Sober alive and grateful ".
Despite their success, the band faced challenges, including an incident in 2000 when Binzer was arrested for throwing a chair out of a window while under the influence, leading to their removal from the Ozzfest lineup that year.However, after their 2002 follow-up Darkhorse was a flop, they parted ways.
In November 2019, Crazy Town's tour van crashed into a moose in Ontario, Canada, with members, including Seth, treated for bruises and cuts at the hospital. Seth was often in trouble with the law, with crimes including attempted burglary and selling and using recreational drugs.
