Before the latest poll, the most recent surveys were from March.A March 26 to 29 poll, conducted by J.L. Partners among 503 likely voters, found Sheehy leading 48 to 43 percent. Meanwhile, an Emerson College poll conducted from February 26 to March 2 among 1,000 registered voters found Tester leading 44 to 42 percent.The Cook Political Report, which monitors elections across the country, classifies this contest as one of the three toss-up races, along with Ohio and Nevada.
