Simon Cowell has admitted that he was "quite nervous" when he walked former The X Factor star Lucy Spraggan down the aisle. The 32 year old musician tied the knot with her partner, wedding photographer Emilia Smith, earlier this month after announcing their engagement in March.
"The best way of describing our relationship is that it feels like we’ve been friends for life. Being asked to walk her down the aisle made me realise the significance and importance of that role. And throughout the day, I was thinking even though it’s been a relatively short time, we do feel like family, and we share a very special bond."
Lucy lovingly wrote her song Other Sides of The Moon, especially for Emilia and released the track on the date of their wedding day on 14 June. Taking to Instagram to share news of the new song, Lucy explained the meaning behind the song and said: "It’s only right this song comes out on our wedding day…"
