Dan Murphy’s $20 Shingleback wine named ‘Best in Show’ at world’s biggest competition

A $20 wine sold at Dan Murphy’s has been awarded “Best in Show” in the world’s largest and most influential wine competition. Shingleback Wines, based in McLaren Vale in South Australia, achieved the top honour for its Red Knot Classified GSM 2022 by Shingleback at the 2024 Decanter World Wine Awards in London. The annual event is regarded as the world’s largest and most influential wine contest and has been running for 21 years.
