Shell Rotella SuperRigs 2024: ENORMOUS GALLERY Hot Rod Trucks Show off at the Big Rig Beauty Pageant in TexasA 10-wheel big rig isn’t the typical truck that you’ll find on the digital screens or printed pages of HOT ROD.
This year, the 42nd iteration of SuperRigs was held at the Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, Texas. Approximately 70 trucks and drivers put their best wheels forward for judging in six primary categories: Working Truck , Specialized Working Truck, Working Show Truck, Non-Working Show Truck, Specialty Categories , and Special Recognition Award Categories .
All configurations of trucks with trailers are entered with their common qualities being elaborate paintjobs that often include all types of custom trim and appearance treatments inside and out, and that typically have Cat, Cummins, or Paccar diesel engines making big horsepower and ridiculous amounts of torque. Keep in mind that they’re also used daily, racking up thousands of miles per year.The yearly exhibition of lights is always a cool aspect of the Shell Rotella SuperRigs competition.
