Melbourne premiership star Steven May has revealed his sky high ambitions once his AFL career is over. The 32-year-old has been one of the best defenders throughout his brilliant 228-game career, but will embark on a totally different path once he hangs up the boots.
May speaks about his pilot ambitions. May is in training to be a pilot, and hopes to one day fly commercial planes around the world. He began his flight training eight years ago and while he currently only flies little plans, he has his sights firmly set on bigger ones. “Fair bit on my plate, but I’m just trying to chip away and then when I retire I can fully focus on it,” he told 7NEWS.
