Satellite images of the Demilitarized Zone in North Korea has revealed new constructions near the border.

Satellite images has revealed that North Korea is building what appears to be a wall in several stages along the border with South Korea. The images show construction at several points along the Demilitarized Zone , which separates North and South Korea by 2.5 miles. Extended military activity in the DMZ, which has been in place since 1953, could be a violation of the long-term truce between North Korea and South Korea.

'Recent activities along the DMZ have seen North Korean soldiers crossing into South Korean territory on multiple occasions, indicating the construction could be military in nature. Earlier this week, NK News reported that North Korean soldiers have approached the border into South Korea, and that the crossings have occurred alongside the ongoing construction in the DMZ.
