Justin Timberlake reportedly tells police 'I had one martini' before Hamptons DWI arrest

. The"Can't Stop the Feeling" singer, 43, was pulled over in the Sag Harbor community of the Hamptons on early Tuesday morning and arrested on charges of driving"in an intoxicated condition." He was arraigned and released hours later., Timberlake told police officers at the time of arrest,"I had one martini, and I followed my friends home.

The arrest occurred after Timberlake dined at The American Hotel and was on the way to a friend's house in the community. The singer pled not guilty to the charges and is due back in court on July 26. He has hired Sag Harbor Village attorney Ed Burke Jr. to represent him."I look forward to vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake on these allegations. I will have a lot to say at the appropriate time but am currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney’s office," Burke Jr.
