A Peter Kay fan's dying wish was granted when it was made possible for him to watch the comedian at a live show. The Welsh Ambulance Service and Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board's Hospice at Home team helped Paul Taylor to fulfil his wish.
Emma, from Holywell, Flintshire, said: “We didn’t think there would be any possibility to go to the show as Paul was bed bound at home, but he kept saying he was going because he was so determined. When we mentioned it to the Hospice at Home team, they were really positive and said let’s try make it happen.
“They had told Peter Kay about us coming and he gifted us our drinks for the evening. Paul stayed in a bed, but he had an amazing view.” “Without the Wish Ambulance Service and the Hospice at Home team we would never have been able to go. Everyone worked together, and we pulled it off. I really hope it raises awareness so that others may have an opportunity to spend valuable time with their loved ones, creating memories to treasure forever.”
