Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The slate of upcoming Blumhouse horror movies that are set to be released in 2025 has been given a major tease. While the company has had a hand in properties in multiple genres including the music drama Whiplash and the live-action adaptation of Jem and the Holograms, they are best known for their offerings in the horror genre, including movies directed by Jordan Peele, James Wan, M. Night Shyamalan, Mike Flanagan, and more.

He teased that audiences should "buckle up" because "'25 is gonna be epic." He shared certain titles that are on the docket for the year. While they have all been previously announced, they include the currently untitled Insidious 6 as well as the first sequels to the recent Blumhouse hits M3GAN, The Black Phone, and Five Nights at Freddy's.

2024 has seen an entire slate of originals that has so far been performing well. However, the amount of franchise titles that are set to premiere in 2025 will likely boost the company's box office prospects considerably. In addition to the titles that Blum mentioned in his post, the company is also set to release Leigh Whannell's The Wolf Man reboot in 2025, meaning that five major horror franchises will be returning throughout the year thanks to Blumhouse.
