Prince William organised a sit down with Hollywood icon Kevin Costner, revealing his late mother found herself quite taken with ‘The Bodyguard’ actor.

A veteran Hollywood actor has revealed the details of a heartwarming conversation with Prince William about the duke's beloved mother, the late Princess Diana.

"I happened to be in England, and I got this message that the Prince would love to talk, and I said, 'What?'... and then I went, 'Okay'," Costner told People magazine. "There was a moment that that was really flying down the tracks, very quietly, because it's how I operate," Costner said. The three-time Golden Globe winner dished about the time that none other than Sarah Ferguson introduced him to Diana, singing the Duchess of York's praises.

His revelation comes shortly after another Hollywood star gushed about his encounter with the adored princess.
