Giovanni Pernice has used his social media platform to show his support to a new project organised to remember the late Strictly Come Dancing star Robin Windsor. The dancer tragically died earlier this year, aged 44.
The closest he got to winning was coming in fifth place with Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley in 2012, with the popular pairing finishing in 5th place. Other partners included actress Anita Dobson and Dragons' Den's Deborah Meaden. He also took part in various Christmas specials with the likes of ITV stars Susanna Reid and Alison Hammond.
The post revealed that a new West End show will celebrate Robin’s life. Called ‘Robin Windsor The Final Act’, tickets go on sale tomorrow at 10am and the show will take place on Sunday November 3. All profits from ticket sales are set to go to mental health charity SANE. Strictly Theatre Co said on social media: "ON SALE 10am tomorrow!
