Drummer Travis Barker of Blink-182 is hosting Travis Barker’s Run Travis Run: A Run & Wellness Experience at the Kia Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, July 6. The hedonistic philosophy of sex, drugs, and rock ‘n’ roll might be how some rockers live on tour, but Blink-182’s drummer, Travis Barker, just wants to take a little morning run with his fans.
The event will begin at 9 a.m. and offer Blink fans and fitness enthusiasts a chance to take a timed morning run with Barker and participate in fitness classes and mindfulness workshops. First-time and experienced runners are invited and will receive a limited-edition shirt at the end of the run. Tickets for the inaugural event are on sale starting at $49 at
“This past year, I ran my first half marathon and participated in a few 5Ks,” he said in a press release announcing the event. “The running community is massive, and I loved how everyone from all walks of life ran together and supported one another. This is what Run Travis Run was built off of, and we’re only getting started.”
