The TV and Radio presenter aired his BBC show live from the city today, Tuesday June 18, to talk about what matters to Scots ahead of the UK general election on July 4.

Jeremy Vine climbed 175 feet up Glasgow's "massive" Finnieston Crane to learn more about its importance when it comes to the city's industrial heritage.

In a chat with BBC Scotland's political correspondent Kirsty Campbell, live from Holyrood, the pair talked about Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross announcing his resignation just weeks before votes for the country's new leader are cast. He told listeners on BBC Radio 2: "I ventured out to explore a very important part of Glasgow’s industrial history. I’m talking about a massive century old crane.
