The brother of a Western Bulldogs player has been caught pitch invading at Marvel Stadium on Sunday. Conor Clarke, who is the brother of young Bulldog Charlie Clarke, ran onto the field during the last quarter of Collingwood’s epic comeback win over North Melbourne. Clarke dodged a few security guards before he slipped and was eventually caught.

When asked by 7NEWS why he ran onto the field, Clarke said he did it “just for a laugh.” The AFL has confirmed it is investigating with Clarke facing an $11,000 fine and a lifetime ban, meaning he may never see his brother or his mate play a game live again. The incident is one of several pitch invasions this season. A 22-year-old man was given a lifetime ban from attending games after he ran onto Adelaide Oval and disrupted play during the Crows’ clash with Geelong on March 22.
