Emilia Clarke tells PEOPLE in an exclusive conversation that she 'still can't' watch the 'Game of Thrones' prequel series, 'House of the Dragon,' which returns for its second season on June 16. The actress starred as Daenerys Targaryen on 'Game of Thrones.

"I feel so content and happy with what my experience was, that I think watching the new one would just feel so odd," the actress tells PEOPLENicholas Rice is a Senior Editor for PEOPLE Magazine. He began working with the brand as an Editorial Intern in early 2020, before later transitioning to a freelance role, and then staff positions soon after. "Now, as more and more time goes between it and me doing it, the more I'm like, that was incredibly special and that was incredibly rare," Clarke adds.
