BBC's Bargain Hunt viewers were left seething when two contestants were booted off the show for a rule breach.
On the Blue side, surveyor Vere and his son Ben, a retail manager, teamed up with expert David Harper, tasked with finding a piece with a Japanese twist. Natasha then announced that the item would have to be disqualified due to a rule violation. The brooch, which was purchased for £90, still went under the hammer and sold for a mere £20.
Another fan of the show remarked: "Really harsh disqualifying people's items. Leaves a bad taste in an otherwise fun and light hearted show."
