Taylor Swift was visibly overwhelmed by the electric atmosphere at Anfield on Friday, pausing her Eras Tour performance to take in the adoration from the Liverpool audience.

She praised the Liverpool crowd for leaving a "stunning impression" on her and even stopped the concert at one point. Following a captivating performance of Champagne Problems, Taylor was so touched by the audience's roaring applause that she removed her earpieces and ceased singing to absorb the moment.

"I've made so many best friends out here tonight. I am so lucky to get to play a show for people like you and to get to meet you. Thank you so, so much for that. I love you."
