has released a new single, “Adore U,” via Right Hand Music Group/RCA Records. The lovelorn song was written by Khalid and produced by Digi and Justin Lucas.
The single sees Khalid crooning about a romantic partner: “Started on two different pages/ I’m happy we made it/ You say that you’re broken/ I’m the one who saves it/ Thousand miles apart and God knows that I hate it/ Nothing hurts me more than when we’re separated.” “I wanted to get the songs out that I personally feel like are on the cusp of making the album and keep those ones that I know for a fact are going to make the album just in that chamber until I feel like the time is right,” he said. “I’ve been working on music for the past three years because I really want to be extremely particular with what sound I put out into the world when it comes to my album.
