Seeing her as Lady Deadpool would be a very different route for Lively, and allow the audience to see her in a more comedic setting.
It would make a lot of sense to have saved Lively's Deadpool franchise debut to the very end of the trilogy, as she didn't appear in Deadpool or Deadpool 2.
