Trina's response was disclosed through showbiz reporter Ogie Diaz, who reached out to her. On his YouTube series' Showbiz Update,' Ogie shared that Mithi was with Trina the whole day of the wedding. "Sabi ni Trina, nasa kanya lang daw si Mithi. Baka daw yung iba ma-misinterpret na hindi niya pinayagan" Ogie said.
"Ako naman, naiintindihan ko rin naman si Trina kung saan siya nanggagaling at naintindihan rin naman natin si Carlo kung saan siya nanggagaling na baka ayaw muna niyang gambalain at gusto niya focus lang siya sa anak niya pag sila’y nagkita ni Mithi,” Ogie added.
