Coronation Street star Tony Maudsley was flooded with comments as he was seen reuniting with a former co-star - but not from his soap role. The actor is currently known for portraying George Shuttleworth in the ITV soap.
But while many will recognise Tony for the role of Weatherfield's own undertaker, many still can't shake off his past acting credits, particularly that of hairdresser Kenneth Du Beke in the hit ITV sitcom Benidorm, a role he played from 2011 to 2018. Posing alongside Sherrie, who also played Maureen Holdsworth in Corrie long before Tony made his Weatherfield debut as George, and Corrie's head of makeup Gillian Walsh, the soap star shared on Instagram: "Look who I bumped into in Blackpool yesterday! Only Dame Sherrie Hewson with her Costa Coffee and her bag for life!!"
