TV doctor Michael Mosley's series exploring the human body is reportedly on hold at Channel 5, pending a decision on whether it can be aired following his passing.
Always one to put theories to the test, the programmes, announced last autumn, saw him use his own body to track medical advancements, including a new scan that purports to predict heart attacks years in advance. He also experienced hypnosis and observed some ground-breaking brain surgery aiming to cure tremors.
However, according to the Mirror, the series has been put on ice as the channel decides whether to move forward with it amid the TV doctor's tragic death. When queried about the possibilities of the late health expert Michael's programme Wonders of the Human Body airing as a tribute on Channel 5, a spokeswoman told The Mirror it was "too early" to comment.
