GoT star Emilia Clarke feared getting fired after suffering brain trauma

Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke was worried that show bosses might not think she was good enough when she came back to work after suffering two brain injuries.She told the Big Issue about her difficulties in returning to play ­Daenerys Targaryen in the hit series.

“The first fear we all had was, ‘Oh my God, am I going to get fired? Am I going to get fired because they think I’m not capable of completing the job?”’ A survey of 327 survivors found that of those who returned to work, 37 percent said they did not feel ready. More than a quarter felt pressure from their employer to return to work, while 19 percent rated the support from their employer as “poor”.
