Dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun, dun. From inside this bungalow, with it's windows closed, its doors closed, its curtains closed and its television on, bass still resonates through the house.
"I've been over there in my dressing gown to complain," says David Staveley, 70, who's lived on Gresham Close with wife Georgina for nine years. "We regularly go over to the security guy and ask them to turn it down. It's an issue for us. It's disruptive to our lives. Their top-flight status has had major beneifts for the local economy. But the knock-on effect for those who live nearby has been not so positive.
Residents have even been invited to have a look around the academy and the training ground themselves. Unfortunately, that hasn't done a lot to allay their frustrations.The club recently submitted a planning application to Rushcliffe Borough Council for the installation of "acoustic fencing" around the perimeter of the ground, in a move designed to hopefully put a stop to the problem for good.
