Liverpool star Dominik Szoboszlai is facing an anxious wait over his place at Euro 2024 after appearing to suffer a worrying injury on the eve of the tournament.
Saturday saw Hungary play Israel in the country's final friendly match before the tournament. Hungary claimed a 3-0 win with a brace from Barnabas Varga being supported by a goal from Roland Sallai. Szoboszlai appeared to receive treatment for a potential injury in the early minutes of the second half. Szoboszlai was not able to continue and was substituted in the 57th minute.
At the time of writing, Hungary are yet to provide an update on Szoboszlai's fitness. The country will open their Euro 2024 campaign against Switzerland on June 15 before facing Scotland and hosts Germany in their other remaining group fixtures.
