BBC Strictly Come Dancing's Giovanni Pernice has been hit with another setback as his dance partner for the Ballando classes, Pasquale La Rocca, has unexpectedly left the project.
La Rocca took to Instagram to inform his followers that he would no longer be working with Giovanni, citing reasons "out of control". He expressed a desire not to dwell on the past and to look forward to new beginnings, though he refrained from detailing the exact cause for the cessation of the dance classes.
Despite the departure of La Rocca, Giovanni remains a part of the Ballando classes, with an upcoming event featuring Strictly judges Shirley Ballas and Anton Du Beke. Giovanni has refuted any claims of "threatening and abusive" behaviour during his time on the BBC show, reports the Mirror.
