When you hear the word vintage, you'd be forgiven for thinking of something that dates back 50 or 60 years. However, one millennial woman has gained a whole new perspective on the word after hearing what Generation Z considers what vintage is.While Ally Stein, 35, was scrolling through TikTok, she was horrified to see a Gen Z woman referring to a pair of Charlotte Russe shorts as 'vintage.
The generations can differ in numerous ways, but a YouGov poll from 2021 revealed that Gen Z and millennials can still agree on certain trends. While millennials are most in favor of skinny jeans, with 54 percent, around 48 percent of Gen Z would agree, as well as 46 percent of Generation X. Bucket hats are also a popular choice now, as 36 percent of both millennials and Gen Z think they're a fashionable choice.
