Shocking government figures have revealed that in some parts of Merseyside, more than two in three children are living in poverty.
The proportion of children affected ranges from 21% in Sefton, to 32% of kids in Liverpool. However, at a hyperlocal level, the rate of child poverty is even more stark in some neighbourhoods on Merseyside.
