Gray Harrison is a freelance journalist and creative writer. Hailing from the mountains of New Hampshire, she feels very seen by Robert Eggers' moody portrayals of rural New England. Gray transferred her love of movies to the academic world as an undergrad at Carleton College, where she studied English and wrote essays on comedy, film noir and how Shakespeare influenced modern horror.
Gray recently obtained her Masters in Cultural Reporting and Criticism from New York University, where she honed her skills at music and film criticism. While pursuing an entertainment journalism career, Gray writes fiction and personal essays on the side, and somewhere in the back of her mind there is a screenplay developing.While at Carleton College, Gray worked as a news writer and editor for the English department and ran a music radio show every week.
