A young man tried to punch a cop during a fight at a N.J. drone light show, police say

A young man is being sought by police for trying to assault an officer working to control a raucous crowd at a community event in South Jersey over the weekend.

Gloucester Township police on Saturday arrested 11 people, including two adults, after a crowd made up of mostly young adultsat a local park off Chews Landing Road. Police broke up several fights at the park before the crowd moved to a shopping plaza, causing more melees.the person being sought attempted several closed-fist punches on an officer confronting him at the Urge Fitness gym at The Marketplace across from Veterans Memorial Park.
