The dressing room that will host the first Everton team to step out at the club’s new stadium is taking shape.

The circular room will see the players’ lockers run around its perimeter as part of a design the club has stated is intended “to maximise team unity and inclusivity”.
Former club captain Phil Jagielka highlighted the new home dressing room as a key improvement when he toured the new waterfront stadium development back in February. He said: “The dressing room here looks a bit different than that one we’ve been used to at Goodison, so this is fantastic and what they are able to do here, with the facilities, brings Everton to the place it needs to be. Squads have got bigger now, not only on the pitch but also the coaching staff.
